According to the London daily Elaph, the hard work of the famous Lebanese artist Carole Samaha over the past few years has paid off. She is enjoying success this year,  unlike many of her colleagues.  She is busy hosting concerts and performing at musical festivals.

Samaha’s policy over the past three years has been to manage her own affairs and to focus on releasing solo singles, after separating from her manager. Samaha said that she wanted her songs to stay in the minds of her fans and her new album was a turning point in her music career.

Samaha filmed several video clips for songs from her new album, each proving to be a success throughout the Arab world. She is getting ready to film another video clip for the song “Khaleek Be Halak” (Mind Your Own Business), that will be a short movie to show her acting talents.

Samaha is a living symbol that an artist is able to succeed on her own, if she knows her goals.

“An artist can succeed on her own without any production company overseeing every move the artist makes,” said  Samaha,  “And sometimes that same production company might come in the way of his/her success.”
