Syrian actor Abed Fahed recently spoke about his role in last Ramadan's TV drama “Li'bat Mawt” (Death Game), where he starred alongside beloved Lebanese actress Cyrine Abdelnour.
Fahed said that he's had such a positive experience on the show and was oh-so-pleased with its high viewer ratings.
ME news portal Elpah reported Abed as saying that he feels that viewers sympathized with his character, more so than they did with Cyrine's. This is because despite the fact that Abed's character was brutal with Cyrine's, she took advantage of him and did him wrong, in turn making him vow vengeance on her.
A confident Abed gloated about his position as an actor, stating that his achievements in the Arab acting world through a variety of successful roles earned him a place among renowned actors and kept him in high demand.
As for his co-star Cyrine, she's currently preparing for a new film titled “Wa Sar Insanan” (And He Became Human). In the film, Cyrine plays the role of Mary Magdalene.
The Christian starlet said that she enjoys playing religious-roles. She added that playing Mary Magdalene is of great importance as she was a significant figure in Christianity who sinned then repented. Christ defended her when he said: “Whoever hasn't sinned should throw the first stone.”
