Despite her final excuse for not starring in director Adel al Aa'sar's latest movie “Nuktat Dam” (A Blood Drop), Egyptian star Mervat Amin recently dropped down her decision and decided to start shooting the movie after all.

The London-based Asharq al Awsat newspaper has reported that director al Aa'sar succeeded in persuading the beautiful actress Amin to start shooting "Nuktat Dam", after he was able to get a needed acceptance from the family of the movie’s original director, Mr. Yousef Francis.

"Late director Yousef Francis saw actress Amin as the most suited for the role. Unfortunately, he passed away before starting the movie and as I got the acceptance to do his work, I want to continue exactly as he wanted," al Aa'sar told the newspaper.

On her part, Amin, who's shooting the last scenes of her new TV series "Yahya al Adel" (Long Live Justice), told the newspaper that she "decided to quit shooting the movie after director Francis's death, because I felt that this movie should be called off and never be worked."

The movie, which also stars Farouq al Fishawi, Sharief Munir, Mahmoud Kabil and many others, circles around a fugitive from the law who meets a woman that helps him prove his innocence. – Albawaba.com
