Lebanese singer Diana Haddad has arrived in Cairo to reach an agreement on her performance in the play “Alraqs Maa Azzohour” (Dancing with Flowers), which will hit the theaters on the first of July. The play is directed by Assayyed Radi and written by Wadie' Andraus.

Radi told Akhbar Annujoom magazine that the play was the first time an Arab singer would take part in a musical on the Egyptian stage.

The Egyptian actor Hisham Abdel Hamid has been nominated to costar in the play. The contract will include the authors and composers of the play’s lyrics, and the facilities to be provided to Haddad throughout her stay in Cairo for the performance.

The last show play directed by Assayyed Radi was “Ala Kaifak Ya Amar” (As You Wish, Moon) starring Mohammed Al Hilo, Hala Fakher and Mahmoud Al Jundi -- Albawaba.com
