After shooting her latest music video in the Greek Islands, Lebanese singer Diana Haddad is reviewing the script for the upcoming film “Shu’oori Nahietak” (My Feelings Towards You), written by Fadwa Mohammad and to be directed by Saleem Al Bazz.
According to the London based daily, Dar Al Hayat, Haddad is impressed with the script and will accept the leading role, which will mark her debut in the silver screen. The remaining cast has yet to be chosen.
Next, Haddad will travel to Cairo to finish recording the remaining songs for her upcoming album. She has chosen the cover for the album, selecting the best photograph of herself from the variety of photos she keeps on hand for interviews and the like.
Recently, Haddad offered her opinion regarding the power the press, blaming the media for making stars out of unqualified people. She believes the publicity granted to singers is often the driving force behind their success. The singer claims to personally know several female singers who possess little talent; however the media helped them build solid careers based on their looks alone.
