Diana Haddad halts all entertainment activities

Lebanese singer Diana Haddad has announced that she has halted all her entertainment activities until her father’s health is stable once more. Diana’s father had suddenly fell ill and was immediately transferred to hospital, a matter that made Diana rush to his side, reported the London based Elaph. 

 

Diana was recently in Egypt with her husband, UAE director Suhail Abdoul, where she met with director Ahmad Al Mahdi to direct her upcoming song “Khalini Sakteh” (Keep Me Quiet) from her new album, in the form of a music video.  

 

Lebanese singer Diana Haddad celebrated her 27th birthday in Dubai at one of the prestigious hotels among a number of close friends and family members. The birthday bash was noted to have been a memorable event for Diana. 

 

The singer has recently completed the recording of two new songs to be included in her upcoming album, which has been postponed several times, and in turn had many alterations made with regards to the songs it will feature. It was also revealed that Diana will be traveling to Egypt in the upcoming few days in order to record a third song composed by Egyptian composer Khaled El Izz, which will mark the first time the two work together, reported the London based Elaph.  

 

Diana has held concerts in Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and in other Arab countries all proving to be successful. Aside from working on her album these days, Diana has received numerous invitations from organizers of international sporting events throughout the world to be a part of either the launching of events or taking part in a grand finale. The first invitation Diana received was from the African-Asian Nations Cup in India to hold a live performance during the grand finale ceremony alongside Egyptian actor Hisham Abbas. Diana was chosen to participate due to the popularity of her songs in India and throughout the world.  

 

FIFA had also sent an invitation to Diana to take part in an operetta alongside a group of selected singers during the launching of the event in Dubai-UAE. The singer also received an invitation from the International Aviation Companies to take part in their yearly celebration taking place this October. The singer is still receiving offers to take part in a number of other international events and has given her initial acceptance to attend.  

 

The singer postponed her upcoming release “Hubbi Lak” (My Love is For You) many times due to the fact that it needed more alterations to be made. Diana’s husband has presented his wife with a new music channel as his way of showing her his love. The new channel “El Phan” will be registered in both Suhail and Diana’s names and Suhail revealed that the studios for the new channel will be based in Dubai, Cairo, and Beirut and is scheduled to be launched in October on NileSat. –Albawaba.com
