Lebanese singer Diana Haddad is in the process of making her return to the spotlight after an absence that lasted two years with the release of 4 new songs, which she plans to shoot in the form of a music video in the upcoming days. Diana will for the first time in her career sing in the Egyptian dialect in the song “Khalini Sakteh” (Keep Me Quiet).

According to the London based daily, Al Sharq Al Awsat, Diana has chose Dubai and Egypt as the locations for shooting her music videos. The singer stressed that she has no worries regarding her return after being away for so long, for she always made it a point to only present high quality music to her fans. She added that she is not afraid of any of the new faces in the music industry for the mere fact that each singer has his/her own style in music.

A new music channel (Nojoum) based in Egypt started broadcasting last Friday 26th of December, after all preparations were complete. Suhail Abdoul’s, husband of Diana, Production Company, owns the new channel, which costs two million dollars, and will broadcast different kinds of music from all around the Arab world along with Turkish and Indian music video clips. Diana’s husband has presented his wife the new channel as his way of showing her his love, and will be registered in both Suhail and Diana’s names.

There would be three offices operating in Dubai with 40 employees, Beirut 10 employees, and Cairo 15 employees. In addition, the channel will contain news every 15 minutes, and will be broadcasting on Egyptian satellite (Nilesat).

Haddad is currently reading a scenario of an Egyptian comedy film, for the possibility of accepting an offer to star in it. Diana revealed that she did not make up her mind on whether she will accept the offer or not.

The singer noted that she initially accepts the idea of going into acting, but does not know if it will happen at the current time or not. Diana has scheduled to shoot her music video clip "Waili" (Oh My) directed by her Husband Suhail alabdoul. Diana will also be heading to Cairo to shoot another musical video clip for her song "Khalini Saktah" (Keep Me Quiet), but under the direction of an egyptian director, marking the first clip not by her husband. –Albawaba.com
