Lebanese artist Dina Hayek hosted a New Year’s Eve celebration at the Intercontinental City Star Hotel in Cairo.
According to the London daily Elaph, Dina also performed at the “Million Poet” talent show in Abu Dhabi. The wife of the crown prince sheikh Muhammad Bin Zayed Al Nhayan was present at the celebration.
Dina released a statement apologizing for going ahead with her performances despite the crisis in Gaza.
She said that she had to go ahead with the performances because she had signed contracts two months in advance.
