Dina kicked off stage for demanding too much

Egyptian dancer Dina has been kicked off the set of the play “New Look” by the producer after she demanded to be paid a very high wage for her performance. Dina was to play the leading role in the play, but after her demand she was immediately replaced by Egyptian actress Elham Shahin. 

 

According to Al Khalig daily, Dina had previously agreed on accepting the leading role for a wage of 40 thousand Egyptian pounds a month, but gone back on her decision around two weeks ago and demanded 100 thousands instead.  

 

The dancer’s decision to increase her wage came after she realized that she has become very popular due to her scandalous affair with her ex-husband and her resignation then returning to the spotlight. Since her return the dancer has received numerous offers to star in different films and to perform dances at different occasions.  

 

Dina had announced that she has accepted an offer to star in a new film, in which she will play the role of a young female lawyer, who strives to be successful. The dancer will for the first time take off her belly dancing outfit and wears a lawyer’s robe to defend convicted people of a crime they did not commit and succeeds in proving their innocence.  

 

Throughout the course of events in the film, Dina proves her capabilities as a successful lawyer and becomes well-known leading many important people to seek her assistance in handling their cases. The film directed by Ahmad Said Al Din will also costar Egyptian actors Tariq Lutfi, Ahmad Khalil and Wafa Sadiq.  

 

Dina has also accepted an offer for a role in the new television series “Al Bilad Al Mujawireh” (Neighboring Countries), which will mark her first leading role on the small screen. Dina will play the role of a simple village girl who is taken advantage by man running for elections.  

 

The man uses Dina to achieve his main goal of being elected by turning her into flirtatious woman. Dina will costar alongside Mohammad Riad, Ahmad Khalil, Jamal Ismail and Dunia Samir Ghanem. –Albawaba.com
