Doctors accompanying Egyptian actress Sharihan during her short stay in Egypt forbid her from admitting any guests at her home. Doctors said that her health condition is still critical and cannot handle any exhaustion caused by people wanting to see her.
According to the Egyptian daily, Akher Saa, doctors also refused to allow Sharihan to hold any interview with the media. They said that her condition calls for as much rest as possible and she is to refrain from talking too much for the simple act of speaking is harmful to her health.
Sharihan is to resume her treatment in Cairo with occasional trips to Paris to undergo certain tests. The actress expressed her desire to stand on the highest point in Egypt and tell those who stood by her side and asked about her while she underwent treatment Thank You for their support and compassion towards her.
Early last week, Sharihan insisted on returning to Egypt to be with her daughter and family after being away for so long despite strict doctors' orders. Doctors, who were supervising the health condition of the actress, feared that her return to Egypt will create complications especially since her condition is still somewhat critical and she is to avoid speaking and undergoing any activity.
After months of critical treatment for cancerous tumors and after countless rumors of her deformation and even death, Sharihan returned to Egypt alive and in good condition. Standing alongside her husband, Palestinian businessman Alaa Al Khawaja, Sharihan stood with her ever so popular smile thankful to have returned to her home expressing her appreciation to all those who stood by her side throughout her illness.
Sharihan arrived in Egypt on her husband's private plane wearing jeans and a simple white t-shirt. She walked slowly but without any help through the airport greeting people with a simple smile showing them that she is finally cured of her illness.
On October 14, doctors announced that the face of Sharihan would never return to normal, after an 18-hour surgery she underwent in Pitie Salpetriere hospital, in Paris for cancerous tumors.
