Doctors succeed in increasing Ahmad Zaki’s immunity
Egyptian doctor Hassan Mitwali, one of the doctors supervising the health condition of Egyptian actor Ahmad Zaki, revealed that the actor is gradually improving and is showing positive signs for a fast recovery, adding that the actor frequently leaves the hospital for personal visits.
According to the Egyptian based daily, Al Gomhourya, it has been revealed that the medical team in charge of Ahmad’s condition has succeeded in increasing his immune system, which has been showing constant decline as is the case with most cancer patients during chemotherapy. The actor has now begin stage seven of his chemotherapy, after it was postponed due to the low immunity he was experiencing.
The actor and his doctors are currently waiting for the results of the reports that were sent to France in an attempt to try a new method of treatment. Dr. Yasser Abdul Kader, who directly supervises Ahmad’s condition, has sent the latest test results of the actor’s condition to his French doctor, which show that his immune system is not improving with his treatment. The French doctor demanded that the test results be sent in the soonest time possible to begin the new stage of treatment and help the condition of the actor improve.
Zaki was scheduled to head off to Paris in order to resume treatment of lung cancer, but was prohibited for leaving Egypt because his immunity was extremely low and in turn was forced to remain in the hospital.
It has been decided to keep the actor in Egypt and his doctors will establish direct communication with doctors in Paris to proceed with his treatment systematically. Ahmad is currently undergoing extensive treatment to increase his immunity system and to make him capable of responding positively to his medication. –Albawaba.com
