After her debut in the TV series Jaber Maamoun Nassar, the young artist Dunia Samir Ghanem plans to release her first album, entitled Fil Thanawiyah (In Secondary School).
“I want to become a singer because I’ve found that I’m welcomed by everyone who hears me sing. I hope to make singing my profession in the future, along with acting,” Ghanem told the UAE daily Al Bayan.
Dunia, daughter of comedy star Samir Ghanem, is a secondary school student whose performance debut was alongside her mother, Dalal Abdel Aziz in the series Jaber Maamoun Nassar. She plays the role of a minister’s granddaughter who lives a romantic life and falls in love with a poor young man. She aspires to live a simple, happy life with him.
Costarring in the series is Yahya Al Fakhrani, who plays the title character - Albawaba.com
