Durah willing to act in the Tunisian dialect
Tunisian actor Durah will travel to the Syrian capital Damascus to film “Baby Doll Night.” She will then start filming a new movie called “Qoblat Masroqa” (Stolen Kisses), written by Ahmad Saleh and directed by Khaled Al Hajar. A number of Egyptian actors star in the new film, like Khaled Abu Naja, Zainah, Basma and Ahmad Azmi.
According to the London daily Elaph, Durah plays the role of a young woman who falls in love. The film discusses the problems that young people face when they try to marry.
Durah is also working on another film called “Ethnain Fe Wahed” (Two in one), created by Hisham Lashin and directed by Muhammad Sami.
Durah is becoming better known in Egypt and in the Arab World.
Durah would not comment about her role in “Baby Doll Night,” only stating that she will play the role of a mail carrier in danger. She said it is an honor to work with famous Egyptian actor Noor Al Sharif.
Durah denies that she refused to act in the Tunisian dialect. Currently she is reading a script for a Tunisian film and another for a Tunisian drama series, and may take both roles.
