In an unexpected surprise particularly after the rumors that spread recently about his return to his former wife, Egyptian singer Medhat Saleh wedded actress Shireen Saif al Naser.
The wedding took place in complete secrecy as it was held in a famous hotel without any artist being invited, as the party was limited to the relatives of the couple who are currently enjoying the honeymoon. However, their marriage will be announced within the next few days.
This marks the fifth marriage for Saleh as he married twice while he was a student. When he was only 20, Saleh married the mother in law of singer Ali al Haggar, and then he married Laila Siddiq who is expected to file a case against him after he forced her to come back to him but got separated without divorce. The third marriage was to actress Sumayyah al Ulfi, ex wife of star Farouq al Fishawi and the last one was to Shireen, which was her second marriage.
The news is considered a surprise as Shireen and Medhat did not meet in any artwork and there was no information about acquaintance between them.
One of the Egyptian weekly magazines said the meeting took place in one of Cairo’s grand hotels around the pool. The meeting developed into love that ended quickly with marriage.
