Egyptian director Ismael Abdul Hafez is racing with time in order to complete his latest series, Waja’a Al Buad (The Pain of Parting) in time for the Ramadan lineup.

That year in Egypt is well known as the year after the economy opened up.
According to Hafez “this series presents a new and genuine view of the Egyptian villagers in the mid 70s. This is an issue that has never before been addressed.”
The ensemble cast of the series includes actors Salah El Sa’adani, Abu Bakr Izzat, Rania Farid Shawqi, Mona Zakka and many more. – Albawaba.com.
