Ehab Tawfiq’s latest release hits stores
Egyptian singer Ehab Tawfiq has just released his latest album “Ismak Aih” (What is Your Name) in stores under the production of Rotana. The album features 13 new songs written and composed by some of the most prominent names in the music industry.
Recently, Lebanese singer Ragheb Alama was shocked when he heard of recent circulating rumors that a dispute between him and Ehab had broken out over a song. Ragheb was amazed how such a rumor had spread so fast stressing that there is no form of dispute between him and Ehab over any song or anything else.
It was rumored that Ragheb had wanted to include a song in his new album, but was shocked to learn that Ehab had already took it and bought the legal copyright for it. The dispute was said to have been created by composer Mahmoud Balkouneh had supposedly had promised the song to both singers.
Ragheb noted that the truth of the matter is, there is no such song that he is fighting over and that he has already chosen all the songs for his upcoming album long ago. The singer expressed extreme disappointment towards several media agencies who attempt to create problems between him and other singers, saying that such actions are unethical.
Tawfiq has announced that joining the Music Production Company Rotana was a dream he had for such a long time, always feeling that it was the gateway to competing with some of the biggest name in the music industry. Ehab’s contract with Rotana is for the upcoming three years, in which the singer agreed to produce at least one new album per year.
Ehab noted that his move to Rotana was not a coincidence and that it was one of his major goals for some time. Ehab added that he carefully planned joining Rotana, because being part of the company means taking a major leap in his career. Tawfiq has received an invitation from the officials of Rotana to attend a celebration for the signing of his new contract, as was the case with Syrian singer George Wassouf and Egyptian singer Amr Diab. –Albawaba.com
