“I will resign in approximately ten years,” announced prominent Egyptian singer Ehab Tawfiq during a recent press conference in Tunisia, where he is scheduled to hold a performance alongside Egyptian singer Shireen Wajdi.
The singer stressed that he does not see himself remaining in the music business in the future, wanting to focus on his personal life, away from the spotlight.
He may open a private business outside of the entertainment world, according to the Qatar based daily, Al Raya.
The singer revealed that his Tunisian concert will include a collection of songs from his latest album “Hubbak Alamni” (Your love taught me,).
In the interim, Ehab has decided to make a go at movie production with the help of his brother and business manager Hussam Tawfiq.
Ehab’s decision came after producers demanded nearly 3 million Egyptian pounds to produce his new film “Rasa’el Gharam” (Love Letters).
