Lebanese singer Elaine Khalaf is currently preparing to shoot a music video in the form of cinematic performance for the song “Lao Indak Kalam” (If you Have Anything to Say) from her latest album directed by Saleem Al Turk.

The singer expects her new album, which is to be sung in the Lebanese, Gulf and Egyptian accents, to receive a huge success as with her previous album, saying she is confident of her performance and her talent as a singer.

The Lebanese weekly, Al Daleel, reported that Elaine cannot be categorized into one genre and could fall into types due to her abilities as a singer and a performer. The singer makes it a point to perform all dance sequences in any music video she does saying she has the “gift of seduction and is in no need of dancers to do the job she perfects so well.”

Elaine goes on to explain that she has grown up with an “alluring personality” and “soft seductive” voice saying its her nature and she does not fake it. “I was born a spoiled child and grew into a spoiled woman who can get her way just from a “simple” body movement,” the singer told the weekly.

With regards to singing a duet with another singer, Elaine stressed that after the success Lebanese singers Ragheb Alameh and Elissa received from their duet, it gave her the incentive to look into the matter. She is halfway to agreeing with Egyptian singer Hani Shaker and she hopes they can present something to fans this coming year.

The singer added that the Arab world would soon be witness to her matrimonial vows to a man she has been seeing for over a year now. Elaine said that her soon to be fiancée accepts her as she is - a singer and a popular face among the crowd. She added that when the time comes she will consider resigning from her profession to dedicate her time completely to her future family, but for now she wants to enjoy every moment of her career and achieve the most out of it.

Elaine who will not be performing any concerts during the Eid Al Fitir holiday due to her busy schedule with filming her new music video, announced that she will be lighting up the night on New Years Eve in London, as reported by the London based Elaph. -Albawaba.com
