Elaine Khalaf is indifferent over Jiji Lamara's desertion

The absence of Lebanese singer Elaine Khalaf from the scenes has caused for a rise in several rumors regarding her whereabouts. Many people have said that the singer has married a wealthy Arab businessman and is currently living abroad. Others claim that Elaine's business manager Jiji Lamara desertion of her and going off to work with Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram, she has left a negative impact on her in turn hurting her career.

According to the London based magazine Sayidaty, Elaine spoke out and revealed the true nature behind the circulating rumors, saying that neither one holds any truth to them. The singer revealed that she has not gotten married to anyone and she is still a single woman. With regards to the fact that her business manager has left her to work with Nancy, Elaine stressed that the incident did not affect her in any way negative and that she is in fact in the process of releasing a new album. The singer added that naturally a change in the administration of her work does leave an empty spot and make things unorganized, but the case is so until a replacement is found and everything will fall back into its place.

The singer revealed that she was recently in Cairo-Egypt to place the final touches on a new song, which is a remix of one of her old songs, she plans to release. Elaine will start shooting her upcoming music video under the direction of Salim Turk, who also shot her last music video "Lao Indak Kalam" (If You Have Anything to Say). After completing her new song, Elaine remain Lebanon to work on her upcoming new album and has decided not to leave the country until it is complete and ready for release.

Elaine recently released a new music video for the song “Lao Indak Kalam" from her latest album. The singer expects her new album, which is sung in the Lebanese, Gulf and Egyptian accents, to receive a huge success as with her previous album, saying she is confident of her performance and her talent as a singer.

Elaine cannot be categorized into one genre and could fall into types due to her abilities as a singer and a performer. The singer makes it a point to perform all dance sequences in any music video she does saying she has the “gift of seduction and is in no need of dancers to do the job she perfects so well.”

Elaine goes on to explain that she has grown up with an “alluring personality” and “soft seductive” voice saying its her nature and she does not fake it. “I was born a spoiled child and grew into a spoiled woman who can get her way just from a “simple” body movement,” the singer said. -Albawaba.com
