Lebanese singer Elaine
Khalaf revealed that in the recent months she had fell into a state of extreme depression
leading her to seek a psychiatrist. After several sessions with a psychiatrist, Elaine’s condition improved and
she vowed to throw all depression medications away and become stronger person.
During a television
interview on an entertainment program on the satellite channel OTV, Elaine
revealed that she is a very tempered person leading her to be weak in numerous
circumstances. The singer added that life of an artist is not an easy one and
being in the spotlight makes a person subjected to so many rumors and lies that
can lead to depression.
Elaine revealed that
she wishes she dies at a young age for she dreads old age and does not want to
live to see herself an old woman. She added that especially if she is alone she
does not want to grow old a lonely person.
The singer stated that
she is currently involved with a special someone and there is serious talk of marriage,
but nothing has been confirmed.
