Wahsh and Sheikh: Attorney cleans himself from Elham AIDS drama
Controversial attorney Nabih Al Wahsh couldn't take it anymore, and stepped down from representing Sheikh Abdullah Badr, who was convicted and imprisoned for blasphemy of Egyptian renowned actress Elham Shahin.
Nabih said he flew the coop from Sheikh Badr for several reasons, including the unacceptable language he used against Elham on a number of satellite channels, stressing that he is against such use of profanity and supports the conviction against him.
Nabih added that the Sheikh does not take any advice and does what he wants regardless of any circumstances.
According to Sayidaty.net, Nabih also stated that he is disappointed with Elham because of her un-saintly behavior and insults to Egypt during a visit she made to Libya. Nabih said that Elham and Egyptian actress Layla Elwi were placed in custody of government officials for three days per orders by the late Libyan president Muamamar Kaddafi to be tested for AIDS, implying that they performed unacceptable acts that may have led them to be HIV positive.
Nabih stressed that he has documented proof of the incident and said it is very disappointing that we Egyptians are judged by the unacceptable behavior of our female celebrities outside the country.
