Elham Shahin's demands met

Prominent Egyptian actress Elham Shahin had stipulated a payment of 3 million Egyptian pounds to play the leading role in the upcoming television drama "Ahlam La Tanam" (Sleepless Dreams), scheduled to be aired during the coming holy month of Ramadan.

The producer agreed to Elham's condition despite the fact that her wage is considered to be close to half of the budget for the drama, estimated at 7.5 million Egyptian pounds. The drama will be directed by Majdi Abu Ameereh.

Recently, Elham became furious with host of the Lebanese program "Khaleek Bil Bait" (Stay at Home), Zahi Wahbi for igniting the flames between her and actor Nadia Al Jundi.

Zahi prompted Nadia to make insulting remarks toward Elham while appearing as a guest on his show.

Elham stressed that Zahi had put her in an uncomfortable position by brining up old problems between her and Nadia. Their major dispute was over their leading roles in "Al Raghbeh" (Desire) two years ago and the award Nadia received for her role.
