After weeks of speculation that she would be a no-show, it seems TV talk show Ana Wel Asal (Me and the Honey) managed to meet the demands of Lebanese diva Elissa as the singer took to the finale to talk music, life and the many men who have loved her.
The star made herself comfortable in the seat usually reserved for the show's host and wished the audience a happy Eid Al Fitr.
Having allegedy vetoed questions about her childhood, Elissa spoke briefly about growing up as a star in-the-making, and her relationship with fellow Lebanese songstress Majeda Al Roumi whom she sang with as a child and now competes with over record sales.
Elissa explained that despite her celebrity status, she gets irritated with fans who intrude on her private life and by the media who spread lies about her 'from time to time'. Perhaps not much of a revelation then that the star went onto say that she speaks her mind regardless of the consequences.
According to Arab news portal Elaph, Elissa also revealed that she is single at the moment.
Not to worry though - she assured Nishan that there have been a host of suitors who would have given anything to marry her but, not ready for that kind of committment, she has turned them all down.
Elissa also added that she had been far from impressed with a number of shows in this season's Ana Wel Asal.
At least she's sure to be happy with her own appearance!
