Lebanese singer Elissa was in a car accident last week while driving her Range Rover home. The accident occurred when the singer was attempting to steer away from two cars that were following her leading her to hit the car in front of her.
No serious injuries were reported but the shock of the accident broke the singer into tears.
On a different note, the singer is currently preparing for the release of her upcoming album scheduled for release during the summer season. The singer intends on including a number of songs sung in different languages to broaden her popularity to wider spheres.
Elissa had revealed that she wants to be known internationally and this fact makes her persistent on presenting works that will be recognized worldwide.
Elissa was recently in Dubai where she held a special performance for the launch of the new line of products by the popular international sunglasses Vogue. The singer has been named the new face of Vogue for the Middle East.
The big event was in cooperation with the company Luxottica, which had previously signed with Elissa to be its star for Ray Ban sunglasses. At the event, a photography show that was shot in Milan Italy, was shown for the singer.
According to the London based Elaph, after the event, Elissa headed off to Kuwait, where she participated in the annual music festival 'Hello February', verifying her participation after numerous rumors that stated otherwise.
Elissa held her concert at the festival on March 7, alongside prominent UAE singer Ahlam, Lebanese singer Fadel Shaker, and young Kuwaiti singer Bashar Al Shati, who was a recent contestant on the popular program Star Academy.
