During a recent appearance on the entertainment show “Akher Man Ya’lam” (The Last to Know) the famous Lebanese artist Elissa was asked to choose the most beautiful Lebanese artist and she selected Haifa Wehbe.
According to the London daily Elaph, Elissa said the rumors that she and Haifa are in a conflict with each other are silly and not true.
Elissa’s appearance on “Akher Man Ya’lam” comes after the release of her recent album “Tesada’ Be Meen” (Believe Who) which accomplished great success. The songs that are most popular on the album are “Tesada’ Be Meen” and “Low Fe Ana” (If I’m Capable) which was performed years ago by the artist Adyah Shalhoob.
On the show Elissa was very casual and she was honest about herself. She was not surprised to see old pictures of herself that were presented, but she was surprised when the artist Jirar made an appearance. Elissa performed her first song “Bedi Doob” (I Want To Melt) with Jirar.
As for her duet with the Lebanese artist “Fadel Shaker”, Elissa said that she regrets it. Rumors claim there were conflicts between Elissa and Fadel over who would direct a video clip for the song, and so it was never filmed. Rumors claim that Elissa wanted to work with the director Walid Nasif and Fadel wanted Saeed Marouq.
