According to the London daily Elaph, famous Lebanese artist Elissa was recently in Cairo to host a New Year’s Eve celebration at the Samiramis hotel.
Elissa sang songs from her new album, released in music stores 26 December.
Some internet websites released false reports about the cancelation of Elissa’s concert in Egypt. Her manager Ameen Abi Yaghi denied the news and said there might be a party organizer behind such rumors who is jealous of the success of Elissa’s concerts in Cairo.
Elissa’s new album “Tesada’ Be Meen” (Belive Who) includes 10 songs that vary between the Lebanese and Egyptian dialects. Lebanese radio stations started airing the new song “Tesada’a Be Meen” immediately.
Elissa filmed an episode of the entertainment show “Akhar Man Ya’lam” (The Last to Know), aired on “MBC” channel and presented by the Yemeni artist Arwa.
