Producer Hani Jarjas Fawzi has nominated Lebanese singer Elissa to take the leading role in the new movie “Qisat Hob” (Love Story). The film is created by the poet Bakhit and Sharif Munir will take the male leading role.
According to the Qatari daily Al Raya, the story of the film revolves around a love story between a female singer and a poet. The script of the film is poetic from the beginning of the movie until the end. This style will be new for the cinema, but it was tried before by the poet Jamal Bakhit in the play “Yamama Bayda” (White Pigeon).
Sources have revealed that Elissa has expressed her interest in the film, which would mean her debut into the acting world. Yet she has not given her official approval to accept the role.
