Fadel Shaker’s participation in Jarrash definite

Negotiations between Lebanese singer Fadel Shaker and the administration of the Jordanian annual summer music festival in Jarrash have proven successful, resulting in his participation.

The singer agreed to hold his performance on July 29, 2005 and will be pperforming his new music, along with a number of older songs.

The administration would like to avoid last year’s mishap, which resulted in the cancellation of Fadel’s performances just a few days beforehand.

The singer recently returned to Lebanon after holding two successful concerts in Tunisia. He also visited Egypt, where he met with a number of composers in preparation for his upcoming album, even though his latest album was released only a month ago.

Fadel plans on filming a new music video for one of the songs from his latest album “Saharni El Shoug.”
