Fahed: “Angham did not divorce me”

The famous music distributor Fahed and husband of famous Egyptian singer Angham made sure that all the rumors that have been distributed lately by Egyptian and Arab newspapers and internet sites are false. The rumors have it that both he and Angham are divorced and Angham is the one that made the divorce, which is not true.

Fahed made sure that the divorce between the two did not happen yet and that he did not receive any official documents from court implying that the singer went ahead and made the divorce final. Fahed was surprised to read such rumors in the newspapers and he denies any truth to it. Fahed believes that Angham wouldn’t go on with the divorce herself, because she’s filled with emotion and is a very soft person to do such a deed, yet this type of behavior is rude and hurtful.

 According to the London daily Elaph, Fahed doesn’t deny that there are problems between him and Angham, yet problems are normal and like any other couple in Egypt or in the Arab World they have disagreements. Fahed also confesses that the problems between him and his wife had begun a few days before Ramadan, which made Angham leave the house and before leaving they agreed to file for a divorce.

Fahed postponed filing for the divorce till after Ramadan, because he thinks it’s unethical to go on with the divorce during the holy month of Ramadan. He wanted to give Angham and himself some time and a chance to think everything over; maybe after Ramadan they’ll reach a decision that satisfies them both.

 Fahed denied that what has been written about him in the newspapers stating that he is having marital affairs. He believes that it’s unethical to write rumors of this kind especially in Ramadan. He also denies that Angham causes the problems between the two for working with other distributors other than him. Fahed also adds that he is the one who asked Angham to work with other distributors and he praises her success with them.

 On the issue of solving their problems and going back to each other, Fahed says that his father interfered and tried to solve the problems and they have reached a solution yet he doesn’t know why Angham has changed her mind.

He also adds that he is still in love with Angham and they didn’t have a traditional marriage. They both fell in love with one another and they both have great memories together. Both Angham and Fahed have a son together named Abed Al Rahman and he will celebrate his second birthday after two months.
