Fairouz builds a small home in Canada

Prominent Lebanese diva Fairouz has recently held an enchanted concert in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Montreal, which fans from around Canada, the USA, and Europe attended. Fairouz’s performance was breathtaking and left everyone mesmerized wishing she could keep singing nonstop.

 

The concert was sponsored by Planet of Performers Production Company, which had also produced a new single by the singer. During her stay in Canada, Fairouz worked on a surprise for all her fans and recorded the new single “Baiti El Isgheer” (My Small House), which is written by her daughter Rima Al Rahbani and composed by Louise Gaste.

 

The new single and a CD containing some of the most popular songs by Fairouz were sold at the entrance of hall where the singer held her performance. It was added that a biography of Fairouz, along with personal pictures and shirts with her photo on them were also displayed for sale.

 

Fairouz has recently celebrated her 70th birthday among family members and a group of very close friends. Her friends followed their yearly tradition of making thousands of CD copies of her most popular songs and passed them out to fans.
