Thanks to co-host Hisham Abbas, Fifi Abdo has a cringe-worthy moment on first ep of new show!
Fifi Abdo’s new TV show “Ahla Masa” (Good Evening) has finally aired on Sunday. But it was a bit of an shaky start to the Egyptian belly dancer’s career as a TV host, when her co-host, Egyptian singer Hisham Abbas, embarrassed her in front of her show guests and audience!
The hosts were interviewing journalist Salma Al Dali, who presented them with statistics on mobile phone usage in Egypt, which ranked very high on the charts.
Just as Fifi was protesting the figures presented by Salma, describing them as “Exaggerated” and explaining that a large portion of Egyptian society cannot afford a phone of their own, Hisham took out FIVE mobile phones out of the dancer’s handbag.
We think Fifi makes up a large portion of those statistics, peeps! Perhaps you should stick to belly dancing, darling.
An embarrassed Fifi tried to get herself out of it, but to no avail. Their other guest for the night, actress May Ezzedine, was lost in a laughter fit of her own, but kindly tried to make Abdo feel less “humiliated” than she already did!
Did you watch the show? What did you think of Fifi’s cringe-worthy moment?
