Fifi Abdo threatened with police by fan unless she returns his hat at one of her shows
Egyptian belly dancer and actress Fifi Abdo was put in a very embarrassing position when at one of her dance performances in Alexandria-Egypt an audience member was about to call the police. While performing on stage she suddenly stepped down to dance between her audience and in an attempt to seduce one of her fans took his hat off his head and threw it in the air, according to Nadine magazine.
After the show was over, the audience member named Ibrahim, went up to the dancer and demanded Fifi to give him back his hat. At this moment the dancer was at a loss for words for during the performance when she threw the hat she had no idea where it landed among the crowd. Ibrahim threatened Fifi that unless his hat is found he will call the police and press charges.
After endless efforts by Fifi and the sponsor of the show, a peaceful agreement was reached with Ibrahim that he will settle with a personal photo with the dancer.
On a different note, in September the dancer announced she might suddenly think of wearing the headscarf, explaining that it's scaring her how fast her life is going by. “Sometimes I get mad and feel that I have to change the way my life is going. I’m satisfied with myself and I thank God for everything. I only ask for the protection from Him, and I advise all female stars to pay attention to their age, get married and have children,” Fifi Abdo added.
During the Eid Al Fitir holiday, Abdo and a number of prominent dancers in a quest to enhance belly dancing in the world and in Egypt in particular, came together in one work, a first of its kind. “Ameerat al Raqs al Sharqi” (Princesses of Eastern Dance), was the latest release of a dance video featuring the icons of belly dancing at the same time. – Albawaba.com
