The Lebanese artist Marcil Khalifah will host five concerts in Syria as part of the celebration for Damascus being named the 2008 city of culture.
The concerts will be dedicated to the legendary late Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darweesh.
The first concert was held on the 21st of December and the last will be on the 28th of December. The concerts will be held in four different Syrian cities and the last will be in Damascus.
