Foad Al Muhandis returns home
Renowned Egyptian actor Foad Al Muhandis was finally sent home from hospital after recovering from a coma. Doctors ordered the actor to avoid any activity that may exhaust him and to get as much rest as possible.
According to the Kuwaiti based daily, Al Qabas, Foad’s sister accompanied the actor home and vowed to stand by his side until she is certain his health is back to normal. During the time of his stay in the hospital, Foad’s sister was the only one who stayed by his side along with his ex-wife Egyptian actress Shuwaikar, who makes it a point to drop and check on him every now and then.
The actor was recently admitted to hospital after he had fallen into a coma. After the actor woke from the coma he remained in ICU until he regained full consciousness.
Doctors supervising the actor's condition revealed that he was improving gradually. The actor, 80-years of age, has been experiencing deterioration in his health for the past five years. He has had several eye surgeries done, in addition to facing difficulties with his heart.
Before falling into a coma, the actor was in the process of recording his life story for a new drama series one of the Arab satellite channels will be broadcasting. The series will be completely recorded in Foad's voice and numerous guests from the entertainment world, whom he has encountered throughout his career, will also be featured. The actor will reveal all the details of his career that are already known to people in addition to ones that have been kept secret over the years.
The series will begin from Foad's early years talking about his career and how he started out. The actor will also talk about his marriages and children, and how he had separated from both wives. –Albawaba.com
