Four Cats star kidnapped and held at gunpoint

Lebanese singer Maya Diab, who is a member of the popular Lebanese band the Four Cats, was kidnapped for a period of seven hours and was threatened at gunpoint by a group of terrorists. The singer was driving in her car when two cars blocked her way and five men with guns dragged her out of her car.
Maya reported to police that the armed men beat her and took her hostage for hours with a gun pointed at her head. After the seven hours the singer was released by the terrorists and thrown alongside the airport road. Days after the incident, Maya’s car was found deserted.
Police are still investigating the case and looking for the men who attacked the singer, and the reasons behind kidnapping her. Maya revealed that she has never encountered such fear throughout her life and thought she would not survive, reported the Saudi based daily, Al Watan.
On a different note, it has been revealed that in complete secrecy, prominent Lebanese singer is cooperating with Ghassan Rahbani, owner of the Four Cats. No details were revealed regarding the nature of the cooperation, which will mark the first time the singer works with the band.
It has been rumored that the cooperation between the two sides is possibly a new musical play, in which the Four Cats will play a very major role in. the last album released by the band was “Ya Antar”, which was produced by Rotana and filmed in the form of a music video.
