Free films for young and old in Iran
In honour of the Year of Imam Ali (AS) and the 19th Fajr International Film Festival, reported Tehran Times, the deputy minister of culture and Islamic guidance for cinematic affairs and manager of this festival, Seifollah Daad, has encouraged the screening of films at local cinemas, free of charge.
Children and teenagers enrolled in elementary schools, guidance schools and high schools are invited to attend free screenings of films at participating cinemas during the week of the festival.
In addition, Daad has also arranged for special films to be screened at local old age homes. (Albawaba)
