Fula returns to Lebanon to shoot Badr 14
Algerian singer Fula will return to Lebanon this week after spending several weeks in Paris-France to continue the filming of the music video for her song “Badr 14” part of her latest release. “Badr 14” is also the title of Fula’s new album and will be shot under the direction of Hussain Du’aibes.
According to the London based Elaph, after the completion of the music video, Fula will begin holding concerts around the Arab world. The singer is also due to hold a tour around the United States in the near future. It was also added that while in Paris, Fula received an award for best Algerian singer.
On a different note, recent rumors had it that Fula had numerous problems with her business manager that led to a split between the two. With regards to the rumors, Fula denied a split up and stated that minor disputes had occurred with her manager but now all is well and the two are on speaking terms. The singer revealed that their disputes were over a difference of opinion and nothing more.
Fula Ababsa was born in the Paris suburb of Plaine Saint Denis, then moved to Algeria with her family two years later. She comes from a well-known Algerian artistic family. Her father Abdelhamid Ababsa was a poet, musician and singer. Her brother Najeeb is a popular singer and so is her sister Naima. –Albawaba.com
