Teta Abdel Razek awaits new title: Not GILF, but 'Grandma Ghada'
Egyptian actress Ghada Abdel Razek revealed today that her daughter Rotana is pregnant, making her a grandmother-to-be very soon. The scandal courting celebrity Ghada is more known for her exotic acting escapades and striking body than her knitting or jam-making. But now, the tall beauty is on a mission to get on with grandparenting duties as she awaits the arrival of her first grandchild.
Dream come true
The expectant granny revealed that her own bundle of joy was already 5 months gone, and admitted that she waited quite impatiently on the arrival. The seductress of Egypt it turns out is keen to break into her new twilight status and acquire title of Grandma. Grandparenting has been her dream since her daughter married. And no doubt she will make a fun and modern 'Teta' (Granny).
But the water must break and labor pangs strike before her new role kicks into action. Until then she is playing supportive mother, by her only daughter's side and couldn't be more excited. She plans to take time off from her busy schedule to dote on mother and child, confessing that she may as well be having the baby herself - that's how intense her anticipation of the life-change.
The grandchild might be about to get pampered and spoiled, but there will also be discipline in the baby's life. Mother-to-be Rotana was married to police constable Hamed Al Shal back in February this year. An opulent wedding ceremony was held at one of Cairo’s grand hotels with large numbers of stars out in force to mark the happy occasion.
