Egyptian actress Ghada Adel has chosen the action film “Hero,” written by Mohammad Hafthi and to be directed by her husband Majdi Al Huwari for her next film.
According to the London based weekly, Laha, Ghada chose the film because it reflects the real life story of a school teacher. While on a field trip with her students in the great outdoors they encounter a dangerous gang, and the teacher successfully defends her students with all of her might.
Ghada is currently taking acting lessons to prepare for her role in the film.
Ghada announced that she and her husband have agreed to make a new film about the life of Princess Diana. Ghada will play the role of Diana and the film will be translated to English and Arabic to allow international screening.
Ghada refused to reveal the identity of the remaining cast, but did reveal that the film depicts the late princess’s life from the time of her marriage to prince Charles until her death in the tragic car accident with friend Dodi Al Fayed in Paris.
Ghada starred in three films this summer. “Malaki Iskindiria,” costarring young Egyptian actor Ahmad Izz. The comedy “Hamada Yal’ab,” costarring Egyptian comedian Ahmad Riziq, and the action adventure story, “Iyal Habeeba,” in which she played the role of a journalist on a quest to fight corruption. Ghada broke her arm while taking Karate lessons to learn self defense in preparation for the role.
