Lebanese singer Grace Deeb is scheduled to hold a grand performance alongside Iraqi singer Rida Al Abdullah, at the Carthage Festival on June 30, 2005, marking her first appearance at the event.
Grace revealed that performing at Carthage has been dream of hers since the beginning of her career.
Grace is also scheduled to take part in the Karaoke competition to chose the best Lebanese singers, held in Beirut for one month. The singer is hoping to reach the finals, affording her the opportunity to compete in the Firland World Championship in London.
Grace is currently preparing her upcoming album, featuring eight songs by prominent Lebanese composers. According to the London based daily, Alsharq Al Awsat, the new album is scheduled for release in June along with another album that contains a remix of prominent Lebanese singer Dalida’s songs.
Grace has revealed that the songs for her new album focus on the everyday life of an average Lebanese citizen, and are different from the themes commonly used by singers.
According to the UAE based daily, Al Bayan, the singer has been undergoing extensive workouts and lost over 11 kilos. Grace is working out at least two hours a day, in addition to swimming.
