Griffith Chronicles Rehab Journey on Website
Melanie Griffith has decided to make good of her stint in rehab, according to Mrshowbiz.
Good for her.
The actress, who revealed on Thursday November 17, 2000 that she is entering rehab for an addiction to painkillers, plans to chronicle her detoxification on her personal Web site, www.OneWorldLive.com.
Fans or the leisurely interested can log on to the site or e-mail the 43-year-old actress.
Today, a note from Melanie posted on the site read, "I've been receiving many e-mails from you and I can't tell you how much that means to me.
"As you know, part of the purpose of my site, as well as OneWorldLive.com, is to use life experience and learning opportunities to make a difference in the lives of people worldwide. I intend to do just that. I look forward to sharing with you what I learned as well as sharing with you the information from the doctors and experts that are helping me.
"Again, thank you for the love and respect you are showing my family and me. With love and appreciation, Melanie."
Though Griffith has taken an honest approach to her healing cycle, some of the actress's business partners may not be appreciative of the truth. Today, MSNBC's Jeannette Walls claims that Griffith's Revlon contract is in danger because of the rehab news.
The gossip queen notes that a source close to Revlon, which hired Griffith to hawk its Age Defying foundation, says the cosmetics corporation is "quite unhappy [about] this latest development."
A spokeswoman for Revlon sniffed to Walls, "we have a long-standing relationship with Melanie Griffith and respect her privacy at this time."
Griffith's publicist announced Tuesday that the actress is entering rehab on the recommendation of her doctor. Griffith stated that she has an addiction to pills prescribed to help battle pain from a neck injury. – Albawaba.com.
