Haifa denies being banned from Morocco

Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi denied circulating rumors that she is banned from performing in Morocco and stated that Morocco is not a country that would deny her the honor of performing on its grounds. She made clear that the only reason she was denied from singing at a concert in the city Aghadir south of Morocco, because of the bomb that exploded before than concert.
Haifa points out that her manger was notified of the accident and she was willing not to sing; however, her love of her Moroccan fans and not wanting anything to come between her and them was the reason she had insisted on holding a performance.
Haifa was earlier banned from singing in Syria, because of her low singing style. Haifa and a number of Lebanese female singers are banned from Syria because of their singing style, which is considered too indecent and inappropriate for the average viewer.
On the other hand Haifa will be starting in the movie "Baher El Nojoom" (Sea Of Stars) alongside five other famous singer and they are: Carol Samaha, Wael Kfoury, Ahmad Al Sharif and Rowaida Al Mahroki.
Wahbi will be starting in another movie "Lailat Al Baby Doll" (Baby Doll Night). It is an Egyptian movie and script is written by the late Abed El Hai Adeeb. The movie is a political comedy, which talks about the Arab World after the events of September 11th.
