Haifa Wahbi denies suing LBC

Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi denied circulating rumors that she intends on suing the Lebanese Broadcasting Company ‘LBC’. It was said that the singer was outraged at the company for repeatedly airing a clip of her falling on stage and humiliating her in front of viewers.
Rumors had it that Haifa is demanding a compensation of two million US dollars after LBC satellite channel aired the clip, which was shot during rehearsals for her performance for the weekly program Star Academy.
Haifa stressed that the news is a mere lie and she would never consider taking the matter to court especially since she is on excellent terms with LBC.
On a different note, Haifa will be heading off to Morocco, where she was specially invited to attend the launching ceremony of the new radio station ‘Cape Radio’.
Haifa will be holding a grand performance at the event, marking her second the first being during a charitable concert she held for AIDS victims.
Wahbi is in the process of preparing for the launch of her second new line of jewelry, which she designed herself. The singer decided to launch the second collection after her first was extremely successful.
Haifa revealed that this time she intends on promoting her collection in the European market and plans on holding a grand performance in the very near future to announce the launch.
Wahbi was the guest star on the reality television program “Star Academy” that is aired on the Lebanese Broadcasting Network (LBC). The singer performed on the show’s weekly prime on March 16, after her return from Muscat Qatar, where she held a concert on March 8.
