Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi had received a special invitation to be guest at the American University in Beirut from Dr. Rami Zariq, who teaches at the department of agricultural and nutritional science. Dr. Rami had requested Haifa to be present during one of his lectures to talk about her experience on the reality television program “Al Wadi” (The Ranch).
Haifa talked about different techniques of farming and answered numerous questions students had. the singer also went on tour around campus and met with different faculty members and took pictures with students.
according to the London based Elaph, Haifa is scheduled to hold a concert in Dubai alongside Lebanese singers Nancy Ajram and Fadel Shaker, after which she will head to Kuwait to be held guest of honor at the Women and Beauty Exhibition.
Wahbi has begun preparations on her third album, and is holding extensive work sessions with poets and composers to choose the right songs. The singer did not reveal whether or not the album will be produced by Rotana, and did not state if she will renew her contract or not.
The past two albums have surprisingly achieved significant success, and the singer’s songs are spreading so fast round the Arab world.
