Haifa Wahbi in the US and Canada

Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi is preparing for a tour around the United States and Canada, stopping in a number of cities with significant Arab American populations.

Haifa’s tour will begin on July 2, and her first performance will be in Ottawa.

The singer recently held a concert alongside American singer Fifty Cent in Beirut, drawing a crowd of over 6000. Haifa performed a number of her most popular hits, in addition to her most recent "Al Wawa" (The Booboo) song.

Haifa then headed off to Egypt to record the remaining songs for her upcoming album, scheduled for release this summer.

The Arab satellite music channel, Melody has begun airing Haifa's latest music video "Al Wawa," anticipated by viewers around the Arab world.

Haifa held a successful concert at the Jesuit University in Lebanon. The singer donated all proceeds to assist students at the university who are unable to pay their tuition fees.
