News of Haifa Wehbe's separation or Ahlam's catty comments apparently have little effect on the Twitter-verse compared with a picture of a married couple embracing and three words beside it.
US President Obama's tweet: "Four more years" is the most re-tweeted in history after he was re-elected for a second term yesterday. His campaign team attached a picture of the man-of-the-moment with wife, Michelle, hugging, apparently after hearing of his election victory.
The simple image makes a big change from the usual world of Arab twitter celebrities who post up pictures of themselves in ever more make-up in various glamorous parts of the world. Ahlam has taken a short break from attacking fellow celebs by uploading photos from her jaunt round the French capital while Haifa has been making announcements about her love-life (or lack of it) while posing in skimpy dresses.
Perhaps the pair could learn a thing or two about Twitter etiquette from the newly re-appointed American president.
