Haitham Zaki will not present his father’s biography
Egyptian actor Haitham Zaki, son of late Egyptian legendary actor Ahmad Zaki, announced that he will not be portraying the role of his father in a new film, stressing that he cannot compete or compare himself to his father.
Haitham was nominated to play the role of his father in a new film about the late actor’s life. Filmmakers had thought that Haitham would be most suited for the role since he resembles his father and is the one person that knows him best.
On a different note, Haitham is currently filming his scenes for the film “Sa’ah wa Nusf” (An hour and a half) alongside a number of prominent Egyptian actors like Majed Al Kidwani, Eyad Nassar, Sawsan Badr, Ahmad Al Fishawi, Fathi Abd Al Wahab and Yusra Al Lawzi. The film is written by Ahmad Abdullah and directed by Wael Ihsan.
