Hala Shiha promises to sue

Young Egyptian actress Hala Shiha has promised to file a lawsuit against an Egyptian newspaper and journalist who published slanderous lies about her and soccer player Emad Mit’eb.
The journalist wrote an article stating that Hala had an intimate affair with Emad.
Hala denied the rumor, stating that she had never even met Emad and that there is no type of relationship between them.
Hala also condemned Emad for not admitting the rumor is a lie, and stated that Emad did not deny the rumor since he was happy to receive the negative publicity.
The actress also stated that she will contact the Ahli Club, to which Emad belongs, and demand that they make him publicly deny the rumor and apologize to her. The paper stated that the club had offered to buy a new car for Hala to persuade her to leave Emad.
On a different note, Hala has just completed shooting the scenes for her two upcoming films, consecutively, and now awaits their screening.
Hala stars alongside Egyptian singer Mohammad Foad in "Ghawi Hubb," in which she plays the wife of a corrupt man. The film is scheduled for screening during the Muslim holiday, Eid Al Fitr.
The film was delayed several times for a number of reasons. First, director Mohammad Kamal Al Shinawi withdrew from the film, claiming that Foad was constantly harassing him over small details, and then Majdi Al Huwari politely excused himself from the film’s production.
Hala’s second film is "Ureedo Khal’an" (I want a divorce), also starring Ashraf Abdul Baqi.
Hala hopes her new films will ameliorate her image, which has been tarnished by her withdrawal from several films at the last minute. Hala also wants to make a place for herself amongst famous young actresses like Muna Zaki and Hannan Turk.
