Hana Turk in a new drama wearing a Hijab

The Egyptian actress Hanan Turk recently began filming a new television drama series with ‘City Communication Productions.’
The series is called “Hanem Bint Basha” (The Lady Daughter of a General). Turk is returning to television after a two-year absence since her last drama series “Awalad Al Shawar’’” (Street Kids). Turk started in “Awalad Al Shawar’” with Amro Waked, Ahmad Khalil and Hanan Mtaw’ and it was directed by Shireen Adel.
Turk said that she is following the rules and the responsibilities of wearing a ‘hijab’ (Muslim women’s head cover). She said the series does not include any romantic scenes.
The new series is about victims of love and people taking advantage of those that truly love them.
Turk said that she plays the role of the daughter of General Abed Al Hamid. She falls in love with a man that takes advantage of her love for his own needs.
A number of actors will be starting in the new drama series like Nabil Noor Al Deen, Abed Al Rahman Abu Zahrah, Sami Maghawri, Ahal Mursi, Safa Jalal, Sawsan Bader, Raja Al Jidawi and Wisam Jalal. The new series is written by Yaser Abed Al Rahman and directed by the Sudanese directed Saeed Hamed. The new series will be aired on satellite channels during the upcoming Ramadan season.
