Hanan Turk launches religious magazine

Egyptian actor Hanan Turk will publish a religious magazine with singer Sami Yousif, according to the London daily Elaph.  The fist edition will appear on the stands during the “Hajj” (Muslim Pilgrimage to Mecca) season.
 
Turk realizes there are already a large number of religious magazines published in the Arab world, and delayed the launch date to try and ensure the magazine will be a success.
 
Turk previously published the magazine “Nona” geared toward small children, but was forced to halt the publication after only the second edition due to low sales.  Turk attributed the failure to a lack of advertisements.
